Our Japanese Business Manners module includes 4 exclusive Japanese Business Etiquette lessons per week. This module is for people who plan to do an internship in Japan or conduct business with Japanese clients. The course focuses on real-life business situations, Keigo (Japan’s business language), the Japanese business mind, and Japan’s corporate philosophy. We will dig into the special features of this mysterious language, practice a lot of real-life formal situations, and you will master all the essential rules you need to know when conducting business in Japan. You will prepare for a variety of situations, such as:

  • Visiting a company and see how work is organized
  • Preparing for a job interview in a Japanese company
  • Understanding the hierarchy between superiors and trainees
  • Job hunting in Japan

Course FAQs

How many classes will I have per week?

Our Japanese Business Manners module works as an addition to the Standard Japanese Course, which means you will be adding 4 lessons to the 20 lessons included in the Standard Course, for a total of 24 lessons per week. Please note that you can only take this add-on for a maximum of 4 weeks.

What language will be used during class?

The main language of teaching is Japanese, yet our teachers understand English. Meiji Academy teachers are very experienced using communicative methods of language teaching, and they are experts at using different means, such as role-plays and mimics to ensure that even complete beginners are able to learn Japanese smoothly.

How long is a lesson?

A lesson is 50 minutes long. Students have small breaks in between classes so that they can relax or have a snack.

How much will I learn?

There is no limit! Our teachers are used to working with all types of students, and will make sure you learn as much about Japanese Business Manners as possible, so that you can achieve your career goals in Japan. We are always amazed by how fast students improve their language skills, and we will help you in any way possible so that you can reach your maximum potential.
